AIRSCARF neck–level heating extends the open–top season by making it possible to drive with an open Vario–roof, even when outside temperatures are low. At the push of a button, small fans on the back of the head restraints draw in air, which is then heated and blown out through a vent in the front of the seat. It warms the neck and neck like an invisible scarf.

In order to prevent the turbulent air movement generally associated with open–top motoring, the folding draught stop is provided as standard. It consists of a finely–woven textile fabric and can be installed manually behind the seats if needed.

The new electric draught–stop provides the best possible freedom from draughts at the touch of a button. It is also made from a finely–woven textile fabric and when retracted it is integrated completely out of sight in the rear compartment trim.
