Roof box 450 The Mercedes-Benz roof box 450 is a brilliant space-maker amongst the portable roof boxes from the Genuine Accessories range. Its load volume of 450 litres provides enough space for the winter sports gear of a family of four, and it also offers a series of other advantages: The equipment will stay optimally protected from dirt and spraying water. Thanks to a new mechanism, the roof box can be opened or closed from either the right or left side. In addition to the classic colour choice of matt silver, the box is now also available in titanium metallic.
Basic carrier bars The basic carrier bars open up a wealth of flexible options when it comes to transporting sports equipment and luggage. They can be combined with a variety of different roof-mounted carriers. They have been developed for a perfect match with the B-Class body, thus providing maximum safety and optimum aerodynamics. The New Alustyle Comfort ski and snowboard rack can hold up to six pairs of skis or four snowboards, while the standard version can hold four pairs of skis or four snowboards. Both are of course lockable.
Rear-seat entertainment system The high-performance DVD system brings your DVD videos, favourite photos and even video games to two brilliant 17.8-cm LCD colour screens. The video playback on the two monitors allows for individual programmes for the rear-seat passengers thanks to two separate DVD players. USB and SD card interfaces, two infrared headphones and remote controls round off the system. The rear-seat entertainment system can be retrofitted in your new B-Class without requiring any factory-fitted pre-installation.
Concertina load sill guard The concertina load sill guard made of durable nylon fabric can be attached simply and in a space-saving manner on the floor behind the loading sill either with Velcro fasteners or securing rings in the load compartment. The system can be extended with a minimum of effort to provide optimum protection for the loading sill and rear bumper from scratching during loading and unloading. Should the guard not be needed, it can be conveniently stowed to save space in the bag that it comes with.
