The new B-Class offers a complete entertainment programme. This starts with the standard-fit Audio 20 CD and doesn’t stop with the optional COMAND Online multimedia system.
Audio 20 CD The Audio 20 CD multimedia system provides entertainment and can be optionally equipped with the Becker® MAP PILOT navigation system and an integrated CD changer for 6 discs. Key features at a glance:

Becker® MAP PILOT (optional)[1] With the Becker® MAP PILOT it is possible to upgrade the Audio 20 CD radio, fitted as standard, to a full-function navigation system. The control unit can be secured and connected in the glove compartment in just a couple of simple steps, and can be removed at any time. Overview of functions and equipment:

DAB digital radio (optional)[2] The digital radio (DAB) receives terrestrial digital radio stations via a roof aerial. This gives the user better reception quality, a larger choice of stations and more precise information. Switching between analogue and digital reception is automatic, according to signal strength. The DAB tuner supports not only DAB signals but also the DAB+ and DMB standards. Digital radio (DAB) is received via an additional roof aerial. As the digital broadcast areas are still being developed, however, the digital signal is not yet available in some regions. In this case, the tuner fades out the radio signal and automatically switches to the appropriate FM frequency until DAB reception is available again. The COMAND radio menu allows manual changing from digital mode to analogue mode. |

Convenience Telephony (optional) All you need for convenience telephony is the Mercedes-Benz head unit with screen, a compatible mobile phone and a cradle to connect your phone to the exterior aerial via a fixed interface in the centre console. The integrated Bluetooth® interface allows wireless interaction with a compatible mobile phone. The functions of your phone can be accessed via the screen. Incoming text messages can also be displayed here. And if you want to make a call, you can select your contact safely and intuitively using the control unit. |
Media Interface (optional)[2] The Media Interface with consumer cable kit is a universal interface in the centre console used to connect mobile audio/video devices while you’re on the road. You can comfortably access a USB stick, for example, or your iPod® using the vehicle’s control and display units. |
COMAND Online multimedia system (optional)[2] The COMAND Online multimedia system is the highlight of the new telematics generation. This innovative system features an Internet browser, combines all audio, telephone and navigation functions and also includes the Speed Limit Assist function. The optimised control concept makes operation more user-friendly and intelligent than ever before. Component of the COMAND Online multimedia system:
Speed Limit Assist uses an integrated camera to identify the speed limits on road signs and show the permitted maximum speed on the central display. The system also compares identified speed limits against the data stored in the navigation system. |

Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system (optional) The Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system with Dolby Digital 5.1 and an output of 450 watts turns every journey into an acoustic experience. Twelve high-performance loudspeakers, the 9-channel DSP amplifier and the Logic 7® multi-channel, surround-sound technology help create a three-dimensional music experience. The automatic volume adjustment adapts to the vehicle speed. |
