Virtually the entire comprehensive range of innovative comfort and safety equipment and appointments is also available for the E-Guard. And it's entirely up to you to decide what sort of personal style your E-Guard is to have: from the Exclusive package and designo to the AVANTGARDE or ELEGANCE equipment lines – the choice is yours.
The side windows on the driver's and front-passenger sides can be fully opened electrically, and powerful electric windows are also available for the rear compartment passengers. An intercom system for communication with the outside, and a panic button which in case of danger makes the headlamps flash and an acoustic alarm sound, are optionally available. The E-Guard not only passes all the quality and security tests that a Mercedes-Benz is subjected to. The special-protection E-Class also meets the high requirements of the VR 4 resistance class. | |
Two engine variants ensure an agile driving performance, in both left-hand and right-hand drive variants:The powerful E 500 and the particularly thrifty E 350 CDI V6 diesel variant that ensures the highest possible environmental compatibility with its innovative engine management system. The E-Guard is designed as a 5-seater. It provides generous space in the interior as well as the comfort you expect from Mercedes-Benz. All the assistance systems of an E-Class are available and fully operational, the armour-plating notwithstanding. |
