Audio 20 USB The Audio 20 USB with radio, dual tuner and telephone keypad also allows mobile devices to be networked via Bluetooth®. This interface features a hands-free facility and audio streaming for playing music files. It also allows you to transfer contacts from your mobile phone to the head unit, provided this function supports PBAP (Phonebook Access Profile).

Audio 20 CD with touchpad (optional) This multimedia system combines entertainment with information and communication: The Audio 20 CD with touchpad, navigation, radio, dual tuner and CD player also allows mobile devices to be networked via Bluetooth®. The touchpad is integrated in the hand rest of the central control unit. It offers a fully fledged additional input option for controlling the multimedia systems and for handwriting recognition and features both single and multitouch operation.

Digital radio (DAB) (optional) A concealed DAB aerial integrated in the rear windscreen and a digital tuner can receive terrestrial digital radio programmes. DAB digital radio offers excellent reception quality and valuable additional information about e.g. traffic or the radio programme. |

Head-up display (optional) Keep an overview of key driver information without taking your eyes off the road – thanks to the head-up display. It projects a virtual image (approx. 21 x 7 centimetres) within the driver's field of vision. This image appears to float over the bonnet around two metres ahead of the driver. According to equipment, the system displays navigation instructions, current speed, speed limits and TEMPOMAT cruise control and DISTRONIC PLUS settings. A special light sensor adapts the brightness of the display in line with ambient light conditions. This ensures that the display remains clearly visible even on sunny days or at night. The height of the image can be varied according to the size of the driver. This height setting is stored (in combination with the seat memory function). The display content and brightness are also individually selectable. |

Convenience Telephony (optional) A universal interface in the armrest lets you connect mobile phones conveniently to the vehicle's speaker phone. To do so, just insert the mobile phone into the a phone cradle (accessory) matching the device. Comfort Telephony enables you to operate your mobile phone via the Controller in the centre console, the touchpad, the multifunction steering wheel or the LINGUATRONIC voice-operated control system. The CENTRAL MEDIA DISPLAY serves as the screen. Networking allows access to the phone's address book. It is also possible to scroll through the address book and numbers can be dialled directly. |

Media Interface (optional) Current chart hits, your favourite films or clips – personalising on-the-move entertainment. Now everyone can enjoy multimedia entertainment on every journey. A universal interface in the centre console lets you easily connect portable media players such as iPod® or iPhone®. The audio and video contents are thus conveniently controlled and reproduced first-class via the infotainment systems of the vehicle.

This digital service answers this type of question quickly by finding interesting locations in the immediate vicinity or at your destination. The ViaMichelin travel and restaurant guide provides extensive information about restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and routes 36 European countries. By inserting an SD memory card the data can be accessed via COMAND Online and used for navigation. |

TV receiver (optional) Watching TV in excellent picture quality and with a large programme selection – the TV receiver makes this also possible in the vehicle. It receives digital stations broadcasting in DVB-T standard and allows access to additional information, such as e.g. electronic TV magazines or video text. |
